Description:
An HH Centralized Intake Specialist collects, verifies, and enters patient information in order for services to be provided.
Schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays, 8 Hour Shifts, Some Weekends, Holidays, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM MST
Hybrid Position: in Sandy office once a week
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Verify eligibility and benefits via phone and online portals for a variety of insurances and Medicare
- Complete intake of new patient admissions in EHR software and schedule initial care visits
- Obtain authorization for services prior to admission
- Contact patients prior to admission to obtain and verify information and notify patient of financial responsibility, if applicable
- Effectively and timely correspond with agency staff
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with agency staff and co- workers
- Support culture by promoting “Friendly, Positive, and Focused on Excellence"
- All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-year of intake/insurance experience is required
- Knowledge of home health/hospice operations preferred
- Experience in insurance verification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- To perform other duties as required
Salary : $18 - $22
