Position Overview

The Director of Marketing & Communications will be responsible for shaping and executing Larroude’s brand voice across all customer touchpoints. This role will lead the development of compelling marketing narratives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand affinity. Working closely with the founders, Creative, and E-commerce teams, this person will ensure consistency in storytelling across email, SMS, paid media, social media, partnerships, product launches, and public relations.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic marketer and an exceptional storyteller, AI curious—someone who understands how to translate brand vision into high-performing marketing communications that build community and drive growth. 


Key Responsibilities


Brand Voice & Content Strategy

●      Own and evolve Larroude’s brand voice across all channels.

●      Develop messaging frameworks for product launches, seasonal campaigns, collaborations, and promotional moments.

●      Serve as the primary steward of brand storytelling, ensuring consistency across customer-facing communications.

●      Partner closely with founders to translate brand vision into compelling narratives.


Digital Marketing & Customer Communications

●      Lead marketing copy strategy across email, SMS, paid advertising, website, landing pages, and organic social channels.

●      Develop and oversee campaign messaging calendars that support business objectives and product launches.

●      Collaborate with E-commerce and Growth teams to optimize messaging for customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.

●      Continuously test and refine messaging to improve engagement and performance metrics.

●      Ensure all marketing communications feel elevated, distinctive, and aligned with the Larroude brand.


Integrated Campaigns

●      Develop and execute 360° marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.

●      Create launch strategies and storytelling plans for new collections, collaborations, and key commercial moments.

●      Partner with Creative to develop campaign concepts, briefs, and content direction.

●      Ensure seamless coordination across email, social, paid media, affiliate, influencer, and PR initiatives.


Influencer, Partnerships & Brand Communications

●      Oversee influencer and creator partnerships that amplify brand storytelling.

●      Identify strategic partnership opportunities that introduce Larroude to new audiences.

●      Support PR initiatives, media opportunities, and founder visibility efforts.

●      Manage external agency relationships across PR, influencer, and communications functions.


Analytics & Performance

●      Establish KPIs for marketing communications and campaign performance.

●      Monitor engagement, conversion, retention, and customer acquisition metrics.

●      Use performance insights to inform future messaging and campaign strategy.

●      Stay informed on emerging digital marketing trends and best practices.


Qualifications

●      7–10 years of experience in brand marketing, communications, content strategy, or digital marketing within fashion, luxury, beauty, or lifestyle brands.

●      Exceptional copywriting and storytelling abilities with experience developing brand voice.

●      Deep understanding of email marketing, customer lifecycle marketing, paid media creative strategy, and e-commerce marketing.

●      Proven ability to create high-performing marketing campaigns that drive both brand equity and business results.

●      Experience collaborating closely with creative, growth, and e-commerce teams.

●      Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

●      Passion for fashion, culture, and building meaningful consumer brands.
