Who Are You?
You’re a seasoned culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to high standards. With at least 2 years of experience supervising line cooks and running day-to-day kitchen operations, you take pride in producing safe, high-quality meals and supporting catered events. You're confident in your food safety knowledge, calm under pressure, and ready to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life:

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and provide hands-on leadership to the cook team

• Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and served safely and according to recipe and presentation standards

• Assist with inventory management, prep tracking, and daily production schedules

• Train, support, and mentor line and prep cooks to maintain consistency and quality

• Uphold proper food hygiene, sanitation, and temperature control procedures

• Support event catering and special functions with professionalism and efficiency

• Act as the kitchen lead in the absence of the Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a professional kitchen setting

• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and temperature control

• Ability to lead and motivate others in a high-volume production environment

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Food Handler’s Card required; ServeSafe Certification preferred

• Experience in senior living or healthcare food service a plus
