We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Guard to join our team and help ensure the safety and security of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hospital grounds, including parking areas and entrances.
- Respond to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations promptly and effectively.
- Assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors with safety-related concerns and provide directions as needed.
- Enforce hospital policies and procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment.
- Report and document incidents, including writing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- Security Training or Certification.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks.
- Basic knowledge of hospital protocols and emergency procedures is a plus.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
