Overview
Are you a caring and dedicated Public Health Nurse who is passionate about education, advocacy, and supporting maternal–child health? Do you thrive when supporting young families through some of their most important—and vulnerable—moments? Larimer County Department of Health and Environment is seeking a Public Health Nurse to join a vital program serving pregnant and postpartum individuals and their infants.
In this role, you will guide families through pregnancy and early childhood, with a special focus on improving health outcomes during pregnancy and the postpartum period, supporting secure parent-child attachment, promoting early childhood well-being, and addressing the unique needs of families impacted by Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) or co-occurring Substance Use Disorders (SUD). LCDHE is committed to ensuring everyone in Larimer County has the opportunity for a healthy life. We act with integrity, serve with purpose, and approach our work with compassion, curiosity, and a focus on health equity. We foster connection, support all team members, especially those from historically underrepresented communities, and actively address unconscious bias through education and open dialogue. If you value inclusion, learning, and turning core values into action, we invite you to join us in creating a workplace and community where everyone can thrive.
