- This position follows a hybrid schedule and requires at least three in-office days per week.
- On-site work for this position will occur at: 200 W. Oak St. (Fort Collins, CO)

What you'll be doing:
- Establishing, implementing, and communicating policies for purchasing, tracking, and managing IT assets—from acquisition to retirement.
- Entering asset details (serial numbers, tags) into the inventory system and keeping data accurate, up to date, and auditable.
- Auditing software licenses, warranties, and maintenance agreements against usage to ensure legal compliance and timely upgrades.
- Processing chargebacks to County departments using the IT Billing system and helping departmental leads with questions about their costs.
- Building vendor relationships to manage the auction, sale, or recycling of decommissioned equipment.
- Serving as a backup for the County operator line and IT Department front desk as needed.
- Demonstrating commitment to being respectful and valuing differences among individuals.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to convey technical and administrative information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail with proven ability to inventory, audit, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies across systems.
- Practical competence in operating and maintaining specialized inventory tracking software.
- Solid working knowledge of core IT assets, including servers, PCs, network switches, radios, mobile devices, and software licenses.
- Understanding of network connectivity, including physical/virtual circuits, ports, IP services, and analog phone lines.
- Skilled at researching complex product, service, and vendor-related issues to drive resolution.

- Four (4) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
- ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.
