Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for keeping facility at a presentable cleanliness and sanitation level.
- Operates and maintains all cleaning devices.
- Works flexible schedules, mainly nights, weekends, and extra hours as needed; and works in varying weather conditions.
- When a local declaration of emergency or disaster is declared by the Board of Commissioners, all Larimer County employees may be required to work as a Disaster Service Worker.
- Performs other duties as appropriate or necessary for performance of the job.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read and comprehend department and County rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other County employees, representatives of other agencies and organizations, and members of the community.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with guests, vendors, staff, and other facility users.
- Ability to foster collaboration, recognize and resolve conflicts, and openly communicate with co-workers/clients/supervisors.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of c leaning supplies needed for sweeping, seat cleaning, floor care, restroom cleaning and disinfecting, and wall, glass, and metal cleaning.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while working under time constraints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
