Job Summary for Technical Writer - : Reno, NV
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, white papers, and presentations.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to gather and accurately document technical information.
- Manage version control of all project documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Drive process improvements related to documentation and knowledge management.
- Support the implementation of PMO (Project Management Office) methodologies and standards.
- Utilize strong editing and formatting skills to produce clear, professional documentation.
- Apply knowledge of project management principles within capital, engineering, or construction project environments.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and specialized tools such as Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Power BI, and Maximo.
- Work 100% onsite in Reno, NV.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Technical Writing or a related field.
- Possess 4-8 years of technical writing experience, specifically within capital, engineering, or construction projects.
