- Hybrid role: 2-3 days onsite per week in Bronx, NY
- Must be local and able to attend in-person interview
- Utility or Energy sector experience preferred
- Design, program, and implement new SCADA systems; provide operational support for existing systems
- Integrate latest technologies and trends in Gas PLC and SCADA systems to improve operations
- Maintain strong working relationships with management, IT, and operations staff
- Communicate and coordinate closely with the energy control center and field technicians
- Maintain currency with automation and equipment trends in the Gas industry
- Troubleshoot SCADA software, server, and RTU/PLC protocol issues (Modbus, DNP3, BSAP)
- Develop HMI displays, real-time and historical database interfaces, and reports
- Program, configure, and maintain wireless modems (Sierra Wireless, Digi)
- Document changes, obtain approvals, and submit system modifications
- Write and modify simple scripts and SQL queries
- Ensure SCADA system supports safe pipeline operations for Gas Control operators
- Capture and document workflows and process changes
- In-depth experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA)
- Proficient in all SCADA system operations (HMI, database, metering, reporting)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with SCADA software and server issues
- Experience with RTU/PLC protocols (Modbus, DNP3, BSAP)
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment
- Comfortable with hybrid work arrangements
- Script and SQL query development/modification
- Control room or regulated operating environment experience
- Experience with cybersecurity and IT principles
- Familiarity with utility industry field operations
- Process documentation and workflow capture skills
- Experience programming wireless modems

Salary : $60 - $65
