Job Summary – Sr. Power Platform Developer - local candidate (Richmond,VA)
- Hands-on development and configuration of Microsoft Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse)
- Build and customize Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps, and automate workflows using Power Automate
- Develop and configure Power Pages for both internal and external web applications
- Integrate and work with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, PowerShell scripting, and SPFx
- Customize, configure, develop, deploy, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot Studio for application enhancement
- Lead and facilitate discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Analyze business challenges, map solutions to use cases, and develop applications using Power Platform
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to D365 and Power Platform, documenting solutions and collaborating with IT teams
- Design and document technical solutions for common scenarios
- Preferred experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
- Create and share documentation: requirements, recommendations, and technical analysis
- Prepare application mockups/prototypes based on business requirements
- Ensure adherence to best practices and contribute to platform governance at VDOT
- Participate in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer preferred
- Strong communication skills for both technical and business requirement discussions
