Job Summary (List Format): SR. Financial Services Manager (Fairfax, VA)
- Lead the development, administration, and management of the JAMIS financial system.
- Oversee all ongoing system-related projects and ensure timely completion.
- Drive continuous optimization and improvements in JAMIS, focusing on contract support.
- Manage JAMIS system support, licensing costs, and vendor relationships.
- Provide operational and business user support for JAMIS and related systems.
- Support and enhance external reporting, particularly Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.
- Build and maintain BI reports with a user-focused approach to ensure quality.
- Perform system administration duties, including user access control and license management.
- Participate in evaluating and revising indirect rate structures and maintain cost pools and allocations.
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities and other reporting requirements.
- Focus on key modules such as Contracts and Projects in the GovCon context, and JAMIS workflows.
- Collaborate with Operations and Accounting on Power BI and other initiatives.
- Assist with implementing accounting workflow and reconciliation tools.
- Experience working with Joint Ventures.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of general accounting experience, including 5 years in government contracting.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with JAMIS system.
- Demonstrated experience in complex system/module implementations.
- Proven skills in building and maintaining BI reports; familiarity with MS Power BI a plus.
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and FP&A support.
- Understanding of indirect rate structures, cost pools, and allocations.
- Project management experience with chart of accounts and JAMIS Org structure.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental communication skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- CPA or MBA.
