Job Summary For Solutions Architect (Memphis, TN)
- Serve as a core technical and business resource delivering technology solutions to ITS customers.
- Collaborate with business customers and internal/external technology experts to design, implement, and integrate systems, modules, products, and web services.
- Assess the impact of business requirements on technology platforms and capabilities in support of Business Service Managers and Technical Architects.
- Evaluate IT capabilities to deliver business solutions and assist in estimating project costs and planning timelines.
- Act as the primary ITS lead, accountable for delivering assigned business solutions.
- Work closely with Strategic Business Partners and Technical Architects to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Lead the process of finalizing, negotiating, and documenting project business requirements and use cases.
- Support and enforce architectural standards and Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategies for all projects.
- Support and implement Project Management Office (PMO) standards and strategies.
- Reduce technology costs and complexity by leveraging synergies, re-use, and existing enterprise tools across projects.
- Develop accurate project schedules and effort estimates.
- Strategically plan and coordinate program management to advance company objectives and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
- Define project objectives and direct methodologies for achieving them.
- Organize and assign project tasks, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Manage partnerships with vendors and internal teams to deliver integrated business solutions considering scope, cost, timeline, and architectural impact.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in solution architecture and design to external teams.
- Determine and manage project staffing needs, including recruitment, selection, hiring, training, and development.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to strategic roadmaps ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
- Lead ROI analyses and monitor returns on invested capital and resources for projects.
- Review and adjust activities and expenses throughout the fiscal year to ensure optimal financial results.
