Job Summary Snowflake Platform/Database Engineer (Tampa,FL/Dallas,TX)
- Own and enhance the enterprise Snowflake platform with a focus on scalability, performance, and stability.
- Lead platform innovation by evaluating, integrating, and rolling out new Snowflake features.
- Oversee reliability engineering, including disaster recovery, backup, and resiliency strategies.
- Automate deployment and operational processes using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient Snowflake development and operations.
- Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration with the platform.
- Provide expert-level (L3) support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex platform issues.
- Architect secure, scalable cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials for global teams.
- Work closely with global teams (US and offshore) to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Advise on best practices for Snowflake implementation and optimization as a subject matter expert (SME).
- Liaise with Snowflake and external vendors to address issues and enhance platform capabilities.
