ServiceNow Principal Solutions Architect (Engagement Lead)
- Serve as the primary engagement lead for ServiceNow ITSM assessment and optimization projects
- Act as the main advisor to executive and technical stakeholders, delivering high-quality client outcomes
- Oversee the full engagement lifecycle: discovery, current-state evaluation, solution architecture, and roadmap development
- Lead and facilitate governance forums, executive workshops, and readouts
- Conduct deep-dive discovery with IT, operations, and platform teams
- Evaluate current workflows, service catalogs, assignment groups, and automation/integration dependencies
- Establish baseline metrics for workflow performance (cycle time, touchpoints, routing accuracy)
- Define future-state workflow architecture and design standards
- Develop strategies for workflow optimization, automation, and service catalog rationalization
- Provide architectural guidance for ITSM modules and integrations
- Conduct ITSM maturity and capability assessments, identifying gaps in process, governance, automation, and reporting
- Develop a prioritized 12-month transformation roadmap with clear sequencing and dependencies
- Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams (consultants, analysts, SMEs)
- Ensure delivery quality, scope management, and client satisfaction throughout the project
- 10 years of experience in ServiceNow and ITSM consulting or architecture
- Proven track record leading ITSM assessment, optimization, or transformation engagements
- Experience producing executive-level deliverables (roadmaps, assessments, business cases)
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Request, Change, Problem), Service Catalog, workflow design, and CMDB fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with workflow optimization, automation, and integration (including IAM platforms like SailPoint)
- Strong skills in KPI/SLA design and reporting frameworks
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights
- Experience leading workshops and cross-functional teams
- Local to Boston, MA area and able to attend meetings onsite as needed
Salary : $75 - $80
