Job Summary Security Product Manager
- Serve as Product Manager for the Security Engineering team within IT at the Federal Reserve Board.
- Define, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs for security engineering initiatives (e.g., Cloud Security, IAM, security tooling/automation).
- Gather and synthesize requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate regulatory requirements and stakeholder needs into clear product/process requirements and user stories.
- Develop and deliver product roadmaps for security automation tools; drive measurable improvements in efficiency and risk reduction.
- Ensure compliance and implementation of federal cybersecurity requirements (NIST, OMB, etc.).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, DevOps, and enterprise architecture teams.
- Streamline and automate business processes through technology solutions.
- Effectively communicate complex security concepts to various audiences.
- Manage stakeholder communication and alignment regarding product direction and outcomes.
- Measure and report on outcomes; drive continuous process and service improvement.
- Apply Agile methodologies in product development and delivery cycles.
- Leverage strong security engineering knowledge, particularly in IAM, network security, cloud security, zero trust, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management.
- Support the organization s understanding and adoption of policy and process requirements.
- Bachelor s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
- Fully onsite role in Washington, DC; local DMV candidates only.
Salary : $70 - $75
