- Design, develop, and provide production support for large-scale applications using Salesforce technologies.
- Lead and conduct development workstreams from design to deployment, mentoring junior team members (onshore and offshore).
- Ensure adherence to and improvement of SDLC processes and best practices, including code reviews and policy governance.
- Participate as an Agile team member in daily Scrum sessions.
- Interact with customers to identify enhancements and provide solutions.
- Define system architecture and development standards for scalable, flexible, cross-functional solutions.
- Research and resolve Salesforce application issues in test and production environments.
- Evaluate and optimize daily/monthly batch processes to improve performance.
- Conduct impact analysis across multiple Salesforce platforms and applications.
- Prepare and deliver documentation for estimates, design, and development.
- Provide on-call production support during off-hours (nights/weekends).
- Establish timelines and development goals for projects.
- Provide technical leadership to the Salesforce development team.
- Test application stability and functionality.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation; provide technical guidance/training to other developers.
- Maintain application security and integrity.
- Perform code reviews and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for AHM-CF-IT Salesforce applications.
- Code, test, and debug software, including enhancements to existing applications.
- Collaborate with technical staff to resolve software problems.
- Generate complex reports and data outputs via database management and extraction techniques.
- Provide system analysis and feedback to users and management.
- Influence system design and recommend software enhancements.
- Mentor and coach less experienced staff.
- Implement, monitor, test, and audit new software programs to maximize system efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve computer-related problems, including user consulting and training.
- Follow established configuration and change control processes.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
- 7 years of Salesforce application development experience.
- 3 years leading/managing workstreams on enterprise implementations.
- 3 years Salesforce Lightning development experience.
- Experience with Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce Connected Apps.
- Experience mentoring and providing technical direction to Salesforce teams.
- Experience designing/developing Salesforce features: custom objects, validation rules, workflows, formula fields, custom reporting, pages, dashboards.
- Strong problem-solving and application development skills.
- Experience developing customer-facing applications.
- Proficient in Salesforce technologies: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, REST/SOAP APIs, Flows, Process Builder, SOQL/SOSL.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data migrations (using Data Loader and 3rd party tools like Informatica, MuleSoft).
- Familiarity with test practices and unit testing deliverables.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to change.
- Understanding of Force.com capabilities, governor limits, and best practices.
