Job Summary – SAFe Product Manager At UPS (Parsippany, NJ)
- Serve as Product Manager for customer journeys (e.g., Package Delivery & Pickups), implementing new/improved services and supporting UPS subsidiaries.
- Develop and maintain the strategic product vision, roadmap, and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Translate customer needs into strategies, requirements, roadmaps, and OKRs using design thinking, market trends, and ROI/build-vs-buy analysis.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify potential partnership opportunities.
- Communicate program vision and direction to Product Owners.
- Decompose strategy into value streams and release trains; manage and prioritize program backlog; plan Product Increments (PI).
- Oversee and maintain production timelines; coordinate cross-departmental efforts.
- Lead stakeholder review sessions and provide regular progress and impediment reports.
- Manage product ROI, budgeting, and overall business case.
- Collaborate with departments such as Marketing, Customer & Operations Technology.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven team environment.
- Leverage experience in marketing and warehousing/supply chain as needed.
- Utilize strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Preferred: SAFe Scaled Agilist (SA) and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certifications.
