Job Summary – QA Automation Engineer (IVR/Cyara / Selenium/Conversational AI / Chatbot Testing)
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cyara, Hammer On Demand, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define test coverage and understand application functionality.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and monitor execution in CI environments.
- Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps, and work with development teams to reproduce and validate fixes.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for automation scripts.
- Generate and present test execution reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance automation coverage and efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in test automation.
- Apply Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, backend API, and database testing.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare domain standards, including HIPAA compliance.
- Utilize GenAI and AI-driven tools for test automation and integration into QA processes.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- (Preferred) Test conversational AI/chatbots and voice-based virtual assistants across platforms.
- (Preferred) Evaluate AI models using key metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score).
- (Preferred) Work with AI-powered development environments (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor) for test script creation and optimization.
- (Preferred) Perform API testing (REST, SOAP) and have knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud).
- 3 years in QA automation/software testing.
- Strong programming skills (Java, JavaScript, Python), OOPs, and data structures.
- Automation framework development and enhancement.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, and QA principles.
- CI/CD, version control (Git).
- Healthcare domain knowledge and HIPAA familiarity.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
