Job Summary PCB Designer (Altium) San Jose, CA
- Design and develop complex, high-reliability multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer.
- Create, maintain, and manage PCB component libraries in alignment with company standards.
- Design and optimize high power and multilayer (6-8 layer, 16-18 layer) PCB layouts with emphasis on power distribution, thermal management, and manufacturability.
- Interpret schematics and translate them into manufacturable PCB layouts, adhering to quality and design standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, manufacturing) to ensure successful and compliant product development.
- Perform layout reviews and incorporate design feedback throughout the development process.
- Ensure PCB designs meet electrical, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing requirements.
- Apply best practices and industry standards, with preference for experience in automotive or aerospace applications.
