- Define and maintain product roadmaps for infrastructure services (data centers, cloud platforms, network systems).
- Align infrastructure initiatives with academic, research, and administrative priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including IT operations, cybersecurity, academic departments, and research computing teams.
- Translate technical capabilities into business value and user-friendly service offerings.
- Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure products from ideation to retirement.
- Monitor product performance, capacity, and reliability to guide improvements.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and enterprise IT infrastructure trends.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, resilient infrastructure systems.
- Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects and services.
- Optimize resource allocation across competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or product management.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (virtualization, cloud, networking, storage).
- Knowledge of educational and research technologies and their infrastructure dependencies.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and agile methodologies.
- PMP Certification.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Experience in higher education or public sector IT.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware).
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of accessibility, sustainability, and energy efficiency in IT infrastructure.
Salary : $55 - $60
