Job Summary For GIS Developer – NYC, NY
- Utilize ESRI ArcGIS (preferably ArcGIS Pro) and related add-ons for GIS development tasks.
- Apply GIS and mapping fundamentals to support project requirements.
- Perform large GIS data ETL (extract, transform, load) operations, including georeferencing tasks.
- Develop GIS applications using REST API and ArcGIS protocols/packages (such as StoryMaps).
- Work with various mapping file formats including CAD, BIM, and Google KML/KMZ.
- Execute SQL operations and perform geospatial analysis and queries.
- Demonstrate a general understanding of MTA service areas for project alignment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Use MS Office applications, including Visio, to create design diagrams and documentation.
