Data & Analytics Engineer – Healthcare Claims - Local to CT
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data and analytics applications to improve healthcare affordability and provider access.
- Perform data mining, SQL queries, and extract insights from structured and unstructured healthcare claims data.
- Build and enhance self-service analytics tools and web application platforms using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, Django).
- Leverage scripting (JavaScript, Python, etc.) and object-oriented programming (Java, C , Scala, etc.) to develop robust solutions.
- Drive integration of embedded analytics, machine learning, and AI into business workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-oriented products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Enforce best practices in continuous integration, test-driven development, data integrity, and reporting quality.
- Mentor and inspire team members, fostering creativity and diversity of thought.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Maintain curiosity for new technologies and continuously drive process improvements.
- Requires 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent. Healthcare claims experience is required.
