Job Summary (List Format) – Business Intelligence Analyst
- Generate actionable insights and reports to enhance the customer experience and support decision-making, specifically for large agriculture customers.
- Develop, customize, and maintain BI dashboards tailored to meet primary analysis needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Extract, evaluate, and organize data to support BI development, ensuring data quality through cleaning and validation.
- Create and support data visualizations, insightful reports, and dashboards using tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Automate operational reporting processes for improved efficiency.
- Communicate and present analytics results to both external customers and internal stakeholders, adapting technical detail as needed.
- Collaborate with customers via video chat (Teams) on a semi-regular basis, requiring strong verbal communication skills.
- Utilize SQL or similar coding languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Leverage big data platforms and cloud technologies such as AWS, Data Lake, and Databricks (preferred).
- Train and mentor others in the use of BI tools (preferred).
- Apply experience in AI and low-code application solutions (preferred).
- Ideally possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the agriculture sector is a plus.
