Your ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while providing exceptional customer service will be key to your success. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining proper beverage service standards
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions confidently
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables efficiently, and assist with food handling and sanitation procedures in accordance with food safety regulations
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately while handling cash transactions responsibly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations for a seamless dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such Toast POS for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
