As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in enhancing the dining experience for our residents by assisting with meal preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food service according to resident dietary needs and preferences.
- Set up dining areas and serve meals in a friendly and professional manner.
- Deliver meal trays to residents and assist with meal distribution.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
- Stock supplies and assist with inventory as directed.
- Work closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff to ensure quality meal service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
