Position Overview
Larchmont Yacht Club is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented Seasonal Bartenders to join our food & beverage team. As a bartender, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our members and guests, whether during casual afternoons at the bar, elegant evening dinners, private receptions, or lively club events.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and flair
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests across various outlets including member dining, private events, and seasonal celebrations
- Create new cocktail recipes and contribute to seasonal beverage menus
- Monitor guest needs and proactively offer recommendations or assistance
- Verify age requirements for alcohol service and follow all club, state, and local alcohol regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events, including weddings, regattas, and holiday gatherings
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with service and culinary staff to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume setting
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Positive, engaging personality with a polished, professional appearance
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine, and spirits
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy service periods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season
Preferred Qualifications
- Bartending or mixology certification
- Experience in private clubs, fine dining, or upscale casual environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
Compensation & Perks
- Hourly wage: $23.00 – $26.00 (non-tipped position)
