Assistant General Manager
The Assistant General Manager plays a key leadership role in the daily operations of the hotel, working closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient management of all departments. The AGM supports staff, assists with guest relations, and helps maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in overseeing front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage operations.
- Supporting staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Handling guest concerns and resolving issues to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Monitoring hotel performance, including occupancy, revenue, and expenses.
- Ensuring brand and company standards are consistently met.
- Acting as Manager on Duty when the General Manager is not on property.
- Providing shift coverage when needed to support operations.
Requirements:
- Previous hospitality or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Flexibility to cover shifts across departments when required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
