What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is essential.

- Minimum 12 months of medical billing/coding experience.
- Ophthalmology/Optometry experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately code and post clinic charges using ICD-10 and other standards.
- Review medical chart documentation to ensure coding specificity and accuracy.
- Post insurance and patient payments promptly and accurately.
- Communicate with team members to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Authorize and verify benefits
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce claim denials.
- Work, analyze, and resolve insurance denials to improve reimbursement outcomes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
