Principal at Hailmann Elementary School (215 day contract)
One position available for the 2026-2027 school year
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Elementary Administrative and Supervision License OR Building Level Administration license; previous administrative experience; effective instructional leadership skills; strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written); knowledge of current educational research and best practices; commitment to total school improvement efforts; excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders; using data to effectively change instruction; and, background in professional development.

Before an individual can work with students or have his/her name submitted for approval to the Board of School Trustees, the candidate must complete the background check authorization (at a cost of $15.00-cash or check) and the background check must receive a "cleared" rating. Additionally, the individual must complete a federal I-9 form (providing appropriate identification documents); tax forms; a direct-deposit form (with an attached voided check); and, view training videos at the Educational Services Center (approximately one hour in length).
