Position Overview:
We are seeking an exceptionally talented, self-driven Skilled Carpenter to join our production team. In this role, you will lead complex structural framing, fine finish carpentry, plumbing tasks, electrical support,tile work, painting, and maintaining rigorous quality control.
This position is designed for a Carpenter with existing skills to bring to the table. We are seeking an individual who takes ownership over their craft, works comfortably on their own and within a team, and drives job site progress with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute residential framing and general rough carpentry independently
- Complete targeted demolition and structural reconstruction to prepare sites for building and renovation.
- Craft and install high-end interior/exterior trim, custom molding, cabinetry, windows, and interior/exterior doors to rigorous professional standards.
- Construct custom decks, apply siding, and execute complex exterior renovation projects.
- Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and assemble various building materials with minimal oversight, applying sound judgment on trade methods for routine tasks.
- Master the safe operation of specialized hand/power tools and manage the proper storage, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate productively with crew members, subcontractors, and trade specialists, maintaining consistent, punctual attendance and daily job readiness.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, management, and coworkers, proactively reporting scope changes or unforeseen site conditions.
- Interior/exterior precision painting
- Execute floor, wall, backsplash, and custom shower tile installations.
- Perform light-to-moderate rough-in plumbing and finish fixture installations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5-10 years of professional experience as a carpenter in residential construction
- Expertise in both rough framing and fine finish carpentry; expert operation of specialty woodworking tools, lasers, and field equipment
- Complete set of personal professional-grade hand held tools and basic cordless power tools.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, comfortably work at heights (Scaffolding/ladders), and operate in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation (work truck or van preferred)
- Professional attitude and ability to work respectfully in occupied client homes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Troubleshoot pipe leaks, drainage blockages, and low water pressure issues
