As our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our clients’ online presence. Working under the guidance of our Director of Digital Marketing and collaborating closely with our team, you’ll execute social media strategies that help clients shine and ensure that each client’s brand voice and business goals are translated into compelling social media experiences.
*The initial term of this role is six (6) months, with the possibility of extension. Must be based in Chattanooga, TN area*
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Content Creation:
- Build and maintain monthly social media calendars for multiple clients (max of 4), aligning posts with campaign goals
- Write clear, on-brand captions; coordinate with visuals that reflect each client’s unique voice and style
Community Engagement:
- Monitor comments, messages and mentions on clients’ accounts; respond promptly and professionally according to approved guidelines
- Engage proactively with followers, prospective customers, and industry accounts to foster community and boost brand awareness
- Identify opportunities for clients to join relevant conversations or trends
Analytics Reporting:
- Track key performance metrics for each client and plug in metrics into templates to create concise monthly reports
- The Director of Digital Marketing will then use those insights to recommend improvements and report out to clients
Preferred Skills Tools Knowledge:
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills; ability to adapt tone to multiple client voices
- Experience with managing social media accounts and management platforms
- Experience with photography for socials
- Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with short-form video editing
