Summary
We are seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in our plumbing department. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating service calls and managing our fleet operations within the plumbing department to ensure timely responses to customer needs. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatching of service technicians for plumbing service.
- Communicate effectively with field staff and customers to ensure clarity on service requests.
- Utilize dispatch software (Service Titan) to track job progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Assist with data entry related to service calls and technician assignments.
- Monitor inventory levels of special order parts and supplies needed for service jobs.
- Create and oversee the on-call schedule for plumbing service technicians.
- Answer multi-line phone directing customers to the right department.
- Work with billing department on any service call related questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dispatching or fleet management is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Service Titan or other dispatch software a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
