Lanteris Space Systems is currently seeking a motivated engineering student to join our Structures Design team as a 2026 summer intern located in our Palo Alto CA facility.

As the structures design intern you will offered opportunities to help develop your CAD skills utilizing CREO and our PLM system Team Center. In this role you will design piece parts and subassemblies as well as generate drawings and assist the responsible spacecraft engineer.
Minimum Requirements For This Position
The salary range listed is based on two years or more of completed studies. This range will vary based on the number of years of experience and work location.

Minimum Requirements For This Position
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with completion of 2 years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program in mechanical or aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics, or related discipline
- CAD program exposure, such as CREO, AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar software
- Interest in aerospace or mechanical design
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Group project experience, ability to collaborate with team members of different technical disciplines
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Experience or interest in process improvement techniques
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or similar suite
