We are currently seeking experienced Cable Installation Technicians to join our field operations team. As a vital part of our service network, you’ll perform residential and commercial cable installations, ensuring every customer receives top-quality service and reliable connectivity.
Position type:
- 1099 Contract.
Location: Chicago & South Holland, IL
Compensation & Benefits:
- Sign on bonus
- Weekly direct deposit (with a 3-week hold).
- Pay range depends on experience and job volume.
- You may also join the travel techs crew — per diem available for extended travel.

Please, note:
- This position requires a background check and a drug test.
- This position requires work authorization and a valid DL.
Requirements:
- Minimun 1 year of experience in coax installation
- Strong understanding of installation standards, signal testing, and customer setup.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
- Must have your own professional tool set and mobile phone as outlined in the company’s required equipment checklist.
- Having your own white minivan or pickup truck with a ladder rack is a plus — if not, we can connect you with partner companies that offer vehicle and ladder leasing options.
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential internet services
- Perform cable testing, signal verification, and quality checks
- Run coax cable inside and outside residential properties
- Complete installations according to company and customer standards
- Troubleshoot service issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Complete required documentation, photos, and job reports through company systems
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
