Lanigan & Associates, P.C., a regional CPA and consulting firm, seeks an experienced, eager, and detail-oriented individual to join our Administrative Support Team in our Tallahassee, Florida office location.
Position Description
This position is full time consisting of a 40-hour work week (flexible schedule possible). Administrative Support Staff provide an important role in assisting all levels of professional accounting staff from Junior Staff to Partners. The typical responsibilities include tax return assembly, electronic file maintenance and scanning, correspondence preparation, client invoicing and collecting, and assisting in maintaining an efficient and productive work environment. This position plays an essential part in the servicing of clients and must be able to assist in the maintenance and development of client relationships.
Preferably candidate would have desire to advance and learn tax preparation for both individuals and small businesses.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Good math skills
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting (or desire and ability to learn)
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Professional demeanor with clients (in-person, phone, and email)
- Time management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- high degree of discretion with confidential information
