About the Role:
EZG Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual machines to produce precision parts. This role is ideal for someone who can read blueprints, work independently or with a team, and take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:
- Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to produce precision parts.
- Perform machining operations based on blueprints and work instructions.
- Use equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and chop saws.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Lay out and machine parts to required specifications and tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts using gauges and measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot setups and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure accuracy in all work.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Experience with manual machining equipment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of metals, materials, and machining processes.
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
