Lane Forest Products is hiring a full-time Estimator & Technical Sales Specialist to work with contractors, landscapers, builders, and general customers.
This is a sales-first, hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can build professional customer relationships, understand project details, accurately quote hardscape and landscape material orders, and help customers get what they need to complete jobs correctly.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with contractors, landscapers and general customers.
- Sell hardscape, landscape, and construction-related materials.
- Quote paver, wall block, stone, gravel, sand, soil, bark, and related material orders accurately.
- Help customers determine product options, quantities, and project needs.
- Answer technical questions about hardscape installation and landscape materials.
- Follow up on quotes, orders, special orders, and customer needs.
- Keep the retail yard stocked, organized, merchandised, and safe.
- Operate a forklift, complete required training, and follow company safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in contractor sales, landscape supply, construction sales, hardscape sales, building materials, landscaping, or related work preferred.
- Strong sales ability and customer service skills.
- Able to calculate square footage, cubic footage, yardage, tonnage, and material quantities.
- Able to learn technical product details, installation basics, pattern layouts, and material requirements.
- Detail-oriented and able to quote complex hardscape projects accurately.
- Point-of-sale, inventory system, and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently and work indoors, outdoors, and in a fast-paced sales yard environment.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
