Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care
- Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing lawns, trimming trees and bushes, and applying mulch to enhance curb appeal
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like edging, pruning, and soil preparation
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering practices for healthy plant growth
- Aid in the construction of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other decorative elements
- Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
- Maintain equipment including excavators, lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery through proper care and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other heavy machinery is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including tree care, pruning techniques, and plant health management
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
- Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to learn new skills related to landscape installation and maintenance
