Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Operator role located in Sapphire, NC. The Operator will perform daily operational tasks, including equipment operation and maintenance, site preparation, assisting with construction activities, including but not limited to irrigation, drainage, earthwork, clearing, etc. Responsibilities include safely operating a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring project standards are met, and collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals. Adherence to safety protocols and maintaining project timelines is essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy machinery and using tools related to construction and landscaping.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety measures in construction settings.
- Ability to interpret project plans, perform site preparation, and complete tasks to specified standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks under varying weather conditions.
- Understanding of basic construction, irrigation systems, or landscaping practices is a plus.
- Experience in golf course or sports field construction is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company vehicles as required.
