What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead Maintenance position at Landscape Logic?
Landscape Logic is looking for a strong leader to fill a Team Lead position within our Maintenance department. Candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills as well as be able to prioritize tasks and excel in time management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring that Landscape Logic quality standards are being met and process is being followed on each site in a safe and efficient manner by our crews at all times.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Mulching, pruning, clean-ups, annual planting, sod repair, winter care, lighting, monthly maintenance as well as minor property upgrades
- Follow company policies, procedures, and work standards
- Inspect every site in an appropriate time period to ensure Landscape Logic quality standards
- Problem solving and concerns on the job site
- Consistently evaluates work and determines if further steps are needed to meet CR’s and external client expectations
- Maintain and report job progress within an online platform. This includes time management for crews, job photos and progress notes.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure the team follows safety protocols when handling tools and equipment,
Successful applicants should have the following:
- At least two years of experience in landscaping or landscape maintenance, with some experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- General knowledge of landscaping techniques
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to resolve issues that may arise on the job site.
- A clean driving record and the ability to operate landscaping vehicles and machinery.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor environment, potentially exposed to varying weather conditions.
- Regular lifting of heavy materials and equipment.
- May require working early mornings or weekends, depending on project timelines.
