LCM Tree Division Crew Leader (Class D or C License)

Job Summary

LCM Tree Division is seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Leader to perform tree care operations, including tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, and emergency storm work. The Crew Leader is responsible for leading a crew safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and stump grinding
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, loaders, and other tree equipment
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Maintain communication with supervisors, customers, and crew members
• Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections
• Follow all ANSI, OSHA, and company safety procedures
• Assist with emergency storm response and after-hours work when needed
• Train and mentor crew members on safe work practices
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class D or Class C driver’s license (CDL Is a plus)
• Previous experience in tree care and crew supervision
• Ability to safely operate tree equipment and commercial vehicles
• Knowledge of tree removal, pruning techniques, rigging, and safety procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience bucket operations, Chipper, Stump Grinder
• Emergency storm response experience
