About the Role
As a Founding Sales Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting leads and engaging principals, to partnering with PTAs so parents understand the benefits of our programs. You’ll work closely with the CEO and our product and teaching teams, developing a scalable sales process that will soon drive growth in other new markets.

Responsibilities:
- Own Pipeline & Prospecting: Visit target schools frequently, maintain accurate records in our CRM, and ensure that administrators and district staff know who we are—even if they’re not ready to host our classes yet.
- Develop a Scalable Sales Process: Develop a trackable method for prospecting, closing, and onboarding schools that can be replicated as we expand.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product and teaching teams to onboard new schools smoothly, collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
- Educate & Present: Fully understand Lando’s offerings and the local after-school landscape, addressing any concerns from administrators with clear, concise solutions.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years in quota-driven roles (e.g. SDR, BDR, AE) with a strong history of exceeding quotas and outperforming peers
- Confident communicator comfortable engaging principals, teachers, and PTAs, both in-person and via email.
- Strong closer who thrives in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments.
- Passion for education or youth enrichment (volunteer tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) is highly desirable but not a requirement.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000–$90,000
- Commission: Uncapped ($20,000–$50,000 expected)
- Unlimited PTO (with a recommended minimum of 2 weeks)
- $2,000 equipment credit top-of-the-line MacBook Pro (or equivalent)
- Reimbursed for travel

Location
You’ll be responsible for visiting schools regularly across the SF Bay Area—focusing on the South Bay but occasionally traveling as far north as Martinez.
