Job Overview
We are a growing commercial roofing company seeking experienced Commercial Roofers and dependable Roofing Laborers to join our team. Our work consists primarily of large-scale commercial and government roofing projects, with a strong focus on modified bitumen roofing systems. This position is for individuals who understand commercial jobsite expectations, take safety seriously, and can perform consistent, high-quality work in demanding conditions.

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and on active construction sites. We are looking for real roofers with hands-on experience, as well as motivated laborers who are ready to work, learn, and grow with the company. Our projects are primarily located throughout Louisiana, with continued expansion as our workload grows.

Scope of Work
Experienced roofers will be responsible for full installation of SBS modified bitumen roofing systems, including base sheet and cap sheet applications using pace carts, as well as the installation of tapered insulation systems to achieve proper drainage. Work must meet commercial and government specifications and will be subject to inspection. Laborers will support roofing crews through material handling, insulation placement, staging, and general jobsite duties.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including SBS modified bitumen base and cap sheet systems
• Operate and assist with pace cart installations for consistent and accurate membrane application
• Install tapered insulation systems, crickets, and drainage components according to project plans
• Perform detailed flashing work at penetrations, drains, curbs, walls, edge metal, and transitions
• Read and interpret blueprints, roofing plans, and specifications to ensure proper installation
• Safely perform heavy lifting, material staging, and roof setup
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized commercial roofing equipment
• Work on ladders, scaffolding, and roof surfaces while strictly following safety procedures
• Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and project managers to maintain production schedules
• Identify installation issues, deficiencies, or potential leaks and report them immediately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times
• Laborers will assist with tear-off support, insulation placement, cleanup, and general jobsite tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial roofing or construction; modified bitumen experience strongly preferred for roofer positions
• Demonstrated ability to install or assist with base and cap sheet systems using a pace cart
• Experience with tapered insulation systems and drainage layouts is a strong plus
• Knowledge of commercial roofing materials, installation methods, and quality standards
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and working at heights
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide valid identification
• Professional behavior required, as some projects may be on secured or government facilities

Compensation
Daily pay ranges from $200 to $320 per day, depending on experience, skill level, and position. Higher pay is reserved for proven commercial roofers who can perform at a high level with minimal supervision.
