About Us: Landmark Excavating is a fast-growing construction company operating primarily in Utah, Salt Lake, and Washington counties. We're seeking a motivated individual to join our Utah County team and assist with our financial operations, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Role Overview: As the Accounting Clerk, you'll manage our accounts payable and accounting system transaction entry. To succeed in the role, you must bring attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, trustworthiness, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Manage the accounts payable email account
- Ensure proper vendor documentation (lien waivers, W9, COI, business license)
- Manage and resolve rejected bills
- Assist with making vendor payments
- Perform regular vendor reconciliations
- Accounting System Transactions
- Enter vendor bills into Spectrum
- Enter bank and credit card transactions into Spectrum
- Provide daily and weekly financial reports to management
- Support the Finance Manager in the monthly close process
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in corporate setting and the construction industry a plus.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiar with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum a plus.
- Organizational skills: Ability to perform accurate and efficient work, set and achieve deadlines, and work well with others.
- Analytical skills: Ability to effectively identify and solve problems.

COMPENSATION BUDGET: $18-$20
