Job Overview

East Island Reserve Hotel is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Housekeeper to join our team in beautiful Middletown, RI for the 2026 summer season. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guests through high-quality housekeeping and laundry services.

Schedule

• Primary Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM (2 days per week)
• Availability, including weekends and holidays, is required during the season.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to a high standard
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and laundry items
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping and laundry areas
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests and team members
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
