You'll report to the Billing Team Lead and play a key role in billing, collections, and account reconciliation while working closely with a team of analysts. What You'll Do
- Reconcile member accounts to identify balances owed or due, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and property payouts
- Process appeasements, refunds, and account credits with the proper approvals and documentation
- Support management with billing audits, discrepancy resolution, and variance tracking
- Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues quickly and effectively
- Respond to member billing inquiries (calls, emails, tickets) by providing clear breakdowns of statements and ensuring full transparency
- Ability to work from our Birmingham office — a collaborative, fast-moving environment
- Availability Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM CST
- Experience in billing or a related field (not necessarily an accountant, but comfortable working with numbers)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods, as needed
