This role focuses on protecting the firm's information technology and digital assets from external threats.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on existing and emerging cyberthreat issues impacting the organization.
- Analyze cyber threat information to develop evidence-backed analytic assessments.
- Contextualize geopolitical, technical, regulatory, and legislative issues affecting the cyber threat landscape.
- Perform trend analysis of cyber threat activity over time.
- Maintain subject matter expertise in assigned areas, understanding threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Evaluate underlying sources and methods to assess the accuracy and reliability of information.
- Produce clear intelligence products adhering to established style guides.
- Conduct briefings for internal partners, senior management, and clients.
- Support stakeholders in developing strategies to mitigate threats and protect systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in intelligence analysis, with geopolitical and cyberthreat expertise.
- Good technical comprehension and ability to apply technical knowledge to strategic reporting.
- Demonstrated use of analytic tools or cyber intelligence principles.
- Strong briefing skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with open-source intelligence research and methodologies.
- Relevant certifications, such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or CISSP, are a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, operations, risk management, and incident response methodologies.
