A leading global growth investor with over $80 billion in assets under management is seeking a GP Fund Accountant for a contract role. This position will support the GP Funds team in a high-priority Investran-to-GAAP conversion project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Investran-to-GAAP conversion across multiple GP entities.
- Perform extensive data cleanup and standardization of Investran outputs.
- Build and document repeatable workflows for data extraction, transformation, and mapping.
- Prepare GAAP-compliant trial balances, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Reconcile converted GAAP data back to Investran capital accounts and cash balances.
- Partner with the GP Funds Controller and senior team members on non-standard accounting treatments.
- Document the conversion methodology and mapping logic for audit readiness.
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to automate the conversion.
- 5 years of accounting experience with exposure to private equity or alternative asset manager environments.
- Strong US GAAP foundation and comfort with partnership accounting and consolidations.
- Prior experience with GP / management company / carry vehicle / co-invest entity accounting preferred.
- Hands-on Investran experience preferred; comparable fund accounting system experience considered.
- Advanced Excel required; Alteryx and/or Power Query experience is a strong plus.
