Front Office Business Analyst & Project Manager

Company Overview:

An alternative investment management firm with approximately $3.7 billion in assets under management, specializing in macro and fixed income relative value strategies across global markets, is seeking a mid-level Front Office Business Analyst & Project Manager to join their centralized Program Management Office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Translate approved initiatives into detailed business requirements and process flows.
• Analyze end-to-end impacts across FO systems, downstream operations, data, and controls.
• Break work into structured workstreams, milestones, and clear deliverables.
• Partner with Technology teams to validate solution approaches and sequencing.
• Serve as the PMO contact for FO requests entering the PMO intake process.
• Partner with FO stakeholders to clarify objectives, scope, urgency, and success criteria.
• Drive day-to-day progress of assigned initiatives by identifying and sequencing solution steps.
• Track progress against agreed milestones and manage inter-team dependencies.
• Provide regular, structured status reporting to FO stakeholders and PMO leadership.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid role supporting Front Office functions within an investment management environment.
• Deep product knowledge across multiple asset classes, with strong understanding of trading lifecycles, instruments, and market conventions.
• Hands-on experience with Front Office systems including trading platforms, OMS, risk, valuation, and related analytics.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end FO workflows and dependencies across Technology, Operations, Risk, and Finance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $150,000 – $200,000, Plus Bonus
