A leading global investment firm with approximately $500 billion in assets under management is seeking a Benefits and Wellness Consultant to support its Global Benefits team. This role will focus on administering benefits programs across the Americas, including healthcare, retirement, work-life, and wellness initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day benefits operations including benefits education, vendor management, invoicing/billing, Workday benefits maintenance, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Support the leaves of absence and the disability/accommodations process in compliance with state/federal laws and firm policies.
- Partner with the payroll team on benefit program reimbursements, data requests, and benefit deduction reviews.
- Assist with the development and delivery of benefits communications, marketing materials, and policy documents.
- Ensure regulatory compliance including 5500 filings, 1095 reporting, non-discrimination testing, and state filings.
- 5 years of progressive experience in U.S. benefits and wellness administration.
- Strong knowledge of benefits plan design, including healthcare, retirement, and work-life programs.
- Understanding of payroll processes, regulatory requirements, and benefits taxation.
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience managing vendor/broker relationships and external service providers.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, with Workday being a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human capital, or a related field.
